Manufacturing meets Sustainability
Creating a responsible supply chain starts with where and how we manufacture. These key factors help us deliver sustainable solutions every step of the way:

Lower Transportation Emissions
Producing and distributing from Texas means shorter travel distances and reduced greenhouse gas emissions compared to overseas manufacturing and shipping.

Less Packaging Waste
Local manufacturing means smarter, minimal packaging for shorter hauls, helping reduce excess materials and single-use plastics in transit.

Turning Waste into Resource
Our FDA-approved rPET Sheets are made from post-consumer PET, helping keep plastic out of landfills and lower carbon emissions compared to virgin plastic.
Closing the Loop

At Lyrba USA, circular economy principles drive our approach to sustainability. This economic model focuses on maximizing resource efficiency by keeping materials in continuous use for as long as possible.
Our commitment to closing the loop is reflected in these key initiatives:

Plastiwood™ Pallets
Our trademarked 100% recycled pallets, made from a blend of recycled plastics and wood. When used as part of our service, we request their return to keep them in circulation.

Buyback Program
We repurchase PET skeletons from customers, reprocessing and reintegrating them into our production cycle.

At Lyrba USA, sustainability is not a standalone initiative — it is a cross-cutting axis embedded into our strategy, operations, and organizational culture.
We actively contribute to the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda through a business model grounded in circular economy principles, sustainable innovation, and labor inclusion — driving responsible resource management, social equity, and the reduction of environmental impacts in the communities where we operate.
Our 3 Core Pillars
Environmental
Circularity, waste management, emissions reduction, and responsible use of water and energy.
Social
Labor inclusion, gender equality, health and well-being, education, and technical training in recycling and sustainability.
Governance

How PET
is recycled
PET is widely used in packaging—and widely recyclable.
It can be identified by the #1 resin identification code, often found at the bottom of containers like bottles, clamshells, and trays. Once collected, PET can be cleaned, processed, and turned into new products.
